How much do things like clothes and alcoholic beverages cost in Phuket?

My family and i are travelling to phuket and i am trying to figure out how much money i will need to take with me. I want to buy talored pants and maybe my wedding dress as well. But the big thing is like Alcholic beverages in patong beach ( which is where we are staying) like bottles of beer and cocktails etc. I am also looking at buying towels and sheets and wondering if anyone could give me some estimate on prices in AUD or BHT dollars on how much things would cost. Never being overseas before i have no clue what to expect.

Sheets - not sure...maybe around $5.00 (just MAKE sure you bargain!)

Thailand is cheap remember that. A lot cheaper then Australia. Alcohol at 7 elevens can be anywhere from 50 baht to 1000 baht for hard liquor. Tailored suits will start anywhere from 4000 baht till about 12000 baht depending on the quality of your fabric. Beer's probably cost about 50-70 baht at a 7 eleven. If you want it in Aussie dollars, then just divide by about 29 baht.

Well as a tourist attraction Phuket is less expensive than Australia Imported beer is dearer than the local brew,but still cheaper than here.Alcoholic drinks are also cheaper.Ready to wear clothing is also less expensive.To get tailored clothing is a matter of what you want.However generally you can make a deal with the designer/tailor.Again much cheaper than home.Best to have travellers cheques as opposed to a credit card.You tend to overspend with c/card.Best currencies are $US,Yen,Euros.Pounds and $A

You can withdraw money from your credit card everywhere on Phuket and travelers checks are widely accepted. I would like to recommend that you not travel with to much cash on you. Its safer and easier if you have some of your funds in alternative funds such as your debit or credit card.
