Best way to travel to Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Pattaya?

I am wanting to go to Thailand for a month with a friend and the places we are interested in seeing are, Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Pattaya. We will be getting our plane to Bangkok and spending 1/2 nights there and then going to the other destinations. We would like to finish at Pattaya so we are close to Bangkok for the flight back.

So what are the best ways to get around the locations mentioned?

Best way is to fly to Phuket, Koh Samui. Cheapest is to take the overnight bus. Best way to Pattaya is either taxi or bus. Best way to Koh Phangan is fly to Koh Samui and ferry to Phangan. You can also do the train to Sarat Thani and then van to pier for ferry ride to Samui.

Your visiting schedule and places are very interesting. It sounds that you are both beaches lovers, right?
