How far from Kata Noi Bay to Kata Beach in Phuket?

We are going to stay at a resort in Kata Noi in Phuket and everything we read says that Kata Beach is "just over the hill". Does anybody know how far over the hill? Can we walk, or do we have to catch the shuttle/tuktuk?

Yes, very close. It will take about ten minutes to walk over the hill.

Kata Noi has a very nice beach of it's own. Nicer, I think, than Kata main beach
