When you get to Singapore, at the airport there is a visitors center. Go there and get some maps and info on what to do here.
SINGAPORE HAS THE DEATH PENALTY FOR DRUGS AND THEY ARE SERIOUS.. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
You wont need much in Phuket.. It's alot about hangin on the beach.
Do you already have your hotel set up? Make sure they include a breakfast and totally pig out.. it will save you from having to go out for big meals during the day.
DO NOT EAT SHRIMP(PAD THAI), OR FOODS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN FULLY COOKED.
As for Singapore, I am an expat living here for the last 2 years.
Things tend to be a little more on the expensive side here, but it depends on what you want to do. Food at the hawkers tends to be cheap, but a steak on Orchard road will set you back about 40 SGD Electronics here are to expensive, you would do better at places like best buy , or Fry's, or tiger direct,back home.
well i dont know to much about singapore but i will tell you this dont bring to much for phuket, it dont cost much here you go 38.25x$100.00 U.S = 3825.00bht THATS ALOT THERE.
