Where is the most untouched and quietest part of Phuket?

My girlfriend and I want to go for a relaxing and quiet beach holiday in Phuket. We dont want crowds, just somewhere cheap, with one restaurant, a white beach and a flat sea. I was lucky enough to have lived in thailand as a kid in the 80's, but all the quiet places we used to know are now heaving with tourists. Any suggestions would be appreciated - we dont mind travelling on land for a few hours to find it!

If you go for a quiet getaway, why not try Koh Lanta island? It's just an hour from Phuket by boat. tranquil beaches, magical sunsets.

for accommodation, I'd definately recommend for the Pimalai resort and Spa, it's one of the region's most talked about boutique resorts.

Layana Resort is also a good choice. you two can laze in the privacy of your own living area, and bask in warm tropical sunshine.... it's a must to try luxurious treatment at their "Linger Longer" Spa. Have a nice trip with your girl friend.

Lanta is located in krabi, cheaper to go from krabi
